WHAT: The course encompasses an intensive tour of the whole body from an integral perspective.
Through slide presentations from the dissection laboratory, our environment and culture at large, as well as lively interactions, we will explore the whole-body textural layers which comprise the human form.
We will heighten our awareness and appreciation of ourselves from the inside out, and invite a deeper sense of relationship to the riches within us.
OUTCOMES: Participants can expect to
see and explore deeply within the human body,
have their understanding of anatomy and themselves both elevated and transformed,
and have their touch skills bumped up to a whole new level based on this revolutionary approach to the human form.
Avenues for ongoing research and exploration will be opened.
FOR WHOM: The uncommon perspectives we will explore make the course appropriate for all who have a desire to understand their body and to experience themselves more fully, with special consideration for the issues central to the practice of body-centered professionals, including
massage therapists and structural bodyworkers,
practitioners of pilates, yoga and fitness professionals of all varieties,
physical and occupational therapists, nurses, allied health care practitioners,
as well as physicians.
Insights will also be afforded those having academic interests relating to human anatomy and gross morphology.
Some of the images which will be shared are intense. If you are prepared to look deeply within the human body, you've come to the right place!
TUITION: $150.
